What is an elopement/microwedding?

A micro wedding is a small, intimate wedding ceremony with a guest list of 20–50 people, or fewer. Micro weddings are often a compromise between couples who want to elope and their families who want to be present. 

Why the dunes?

Ryan and Alexis took their first trip together in the fall of 2016. They went on a fall color tour up the coast of Lake Michigan. Saugatuck was the first stop on that adventure and they go back whenever they can.

What do I wear?

Dress for the weather! It’s Michigan. All color palette is inspired by the fall browns, orange and deep blues of Michigan’s coast.

Wedding now? Then party later?

Alexis and Ryan wanted to their wedding intimate in the fall of 2024. Having a private ceremony allows them to keep that experience. They love their friends and extended family and want to share their wedding day with them soon! They intend to have a casual get together in Kalamazoo in 2025.
